Origins
Magic Carpet Care was founded by Bill Bland in the year 1986. Originally operated as a Chem-Dry affiliate, Bill eventually left the franchise operations due to dissatisfaction with the policies of the franchisor and wanted to offer customers affordable, personalized, and highly customized services.
This quest for more meaningful input in offerings to customers led Bill to start a successful carpet cleaning business in Orange County that was wildly successful - Magic Carpet Care

Meet the Founder
Bill Bland is a 35-year veteran in cleaning services. A consummate family guy, Bill has been married to his sweetheart for 36 years. They have three adult children, one of whom works with him in the business at any given time.
Bill is a reliable and active member of the Orange County community. He was for many years, a youth pastor at Sunlight Christian Center, where he positively impacted the lives of numerous young people.
Bill’s other interests lie in film and photography, and he continues to practice film-making today in his free time.
